Information Session: MbeleNaBiz Business Plan Competition Information Session
MbeleNaBiz team held an information session for the Business Plan Competition on Thursday, 15th August 2019 at the KPMG Office at ABC Place, Westlands. The objective of the information session was to inform potential applicants about the Competition and encourage them to apply for grant funding of Kshs. 900,000 or Kshs.3, 600,000.
The information session which took place from 9:00 to 11:00am, was attended by a total of one hundred and thirty five (135) entrepreneurs, who had come from different counties across the country such as Nairobi, Machakos, Narok, Nakuru, Migori, Meru, Voi, Busia, Bungoma and Kisumu.
The information session kicked off with the MbeleNaBiz Business Plan competition Team Leader, Wambui Chege, giving an introduction about the competition, followed by an in-depth presentation on the eligibility criteria and application process by the Project Coordinator, Grace Njoroge. Ms Njoroge also shared important insights on the application process and encouraged them to submit their applications before the competition close scheduled for 2 September 2019.
The participants were actively involved during the information session and had an opportunity to engage with the rest of the MbeleNaBiz team after the event.
